If you want free bagles, go to a Noah's Bagles at the end of the day and ask them for their day old bagles. Every time I have done this I have gotten a giant plastic garbage bag full of day old, perfectly fine, bagles that were heading for the dumpster!

I imagine you could ask at other bakeries as well, but Noah's is the only place I've tried.
