I will be learning how to ride a motorcylce next weekend. I will know after the class whether I will pursue this mode of commuting or chicken out. In the meantime, I really do not want to buy gloves or goggles that I might only end up using for two days. Does anyone have this gear to loan out for one weekend? I don't care what state it's in. Thanks!

Sam, I hope you LOVE it. (Commuting being less fun than the other aspects of riding, but very practical)
One of the best first bikes: Used Yamaha XT 225 Great city bike, great gas milage, six gears- goes fast enough to keep up with freeway traffic, low seat height, can go up and down stairs...
Scooters are pretty good, too, purely for the underseat storage and economy. The small wheels less good for trolly tracks and going down stairs. Everyone goes up and down stairs to get around traffic jams, right?
Good luck, and hope you enjoy!
